Art: Gaia Art Trades

I've owed a couple of Gaia art trades since the semester ended. I'm just finally putting them here, now.

The first is for tuna yo, her Gaia avatar. Very cute outfit, if you ask me.


Next up is Kimaya, her incestuous, evil, sibling characters. She's so sweet, and I've known her since the Art Corner! She helped me out when I was trying to win a Gaia auction, haha. I had a awesome time on the hair.


And finally, my favorite, Winter for water under bridges, who is one of my oldest internet friends and a fantastic artistic influence. She just keeps improving, and I adore her style so much, and it's been great to see her evolve. Guh, Winter is just one of my favorite character designs ever!

I'm alive, I swear. I've just wasted August developing an alternative ego with a semi-embarrassing, anime-inspired style that still looks too wonky to even post here. Anyhow, I finally completed something worthwhile. My scanned blew out a lot of value detail and transition, though. It's an art trade with Adele. You can see her half here - I absolutely adore her style!

Sketches: 12-Count Sheets Dump I + Trades

Massive art dump today, all the sketches I drew over spring break. Most are from the Gaia Auction I am holding, or are mildly related to it.

We begin with the lightning round from PE, for http://myre.deviantart.com . It's her character, Sidae, a swamp necromancer.


Next, another PE sketch exchange, Aidan for http://phoenixelement.deviantart.com . I think her character is really cute, but I don't think I did her justice.


This is Froshtine for http://pirate-cashoo.deviantart.com . The pose is a little awkward. THis was done during a phone interview.


A commission for a good friend, http://cartagia.deviantart.com , of her friend's character, Xenoar.


A sketch trade with http://sizerlyxdxthh.deviantart.com/ , whom I just met on Gaia Online. I think my torso anatomy is getting better, but I feel anime urges overtook his face and spoiled it.


Hewbert for http://w6apav72.deviantart.com/, her sexy, red-headed doctor. Another cheap torso shot, but they're attractive nonetheless.


Went crazy on the limbs, but this is a Gaia Commission for || son zack || from an auction I previously had.


This one is also for || son zack ||, but it turned out much better, I think. I feel my anatomy is getting stronger overall, though.

A BL commission for Kohl XII on Gaia. I haven't drawn something like this in awhile. Hehe. Minus the dangling hand on Charlie (right) , I'm pretty satisfied. I think I'm doing better with sylistic faces and angling them.


Finally, another character for http://w6apav72.deviantart.com/ , a girl this time because I like to draw girls after indulging in BL. Curves are very fun to draw, so are happy, expressive characters.

Bonus, a bad picture of Rivek which I never will finish because the pose was too awkward.

Art: Chock Full of Cute Chicks

Wow, I actually have people following this. That kind of boggles me. Thank you, everyone! Anyhow, I have some real art updates today. This one is for an exchange over at CGHub that exploded past sketches into pieces somewhere between speedpaints and full works. Oh man, the talent on that site is such a motivator!


And this is a long, long, long overdue art trade for my friend on Gaia. I think her character is gorgeous. And she drew Gaspard Ulliel as my character for me in exchange. Admittedly, who doesn't love Gaspard?


And finally, this one is for Mekania in our Gaia Art Whore Guild winter exchange.


None of these were referenced, but I've been drawing people I know from life and taking a closer look at makeup in magazines. I like doing these portrait things. I really need to practice faces and painting. I hope to enter more exchanges soon! Or rather, I hope I have the time to!
